Summary:

Requires counties to close their books 30 days following the end of the fiscal year unless granted an extension by the Commissioner of Revenue Administration.  The House amended the bill to extend the limit to 45 days following the end of the fiscal year.  The Senate amended the bill to extend the limit further to 90 days, with additional 45-day extensions following permission from the Department of Revenue Administration.
