Summary:
Requires landlords to annually test water quality and provide the test results to tenants. If the property has a well and the water does not meet water quality standards established by the Department of Environmental Services, the landlord must install a water treatment system. The House amended the bill to instead establish a committee to study the establishment of water testing requirements for residential rental property.
