HB 1237 (2020)

Adds additional information to what a utility is currently required to to report for property located in a municipality, but only requires that report when requested by a municipality or the Department of Revenue Administration (DRA). This bill also modifies how the DRA values electric, gas, and water utilities' distribution assets. The House amended the bill to instead establish a committee to study the requirements of reporting by utility companies of information required for valuation of utility property.
