Require MOU between campus police and local police
Summary:
Requires all public and private colleges and universities to implement a policy requiring the institution to report all incidents of sexual assault that occur on the institution's property to local law enforcement within 24 hours of the incident. The House amended the bill to instead require "all post-secondary institutions to establish agreements, or Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between the institution’s campus security or police department and the local law enforcement agency to strengthen matters related to sexual assault and related offenses."
