House/Senate Bill: NH House

Description: Limits the ability of law enforcement to release personal information about someone accused of or arrested for a non-violent crime. This bill also makes it a felony with a $1,000 fine to obtain or disseminate private information about a person accused of or arrested for a nonviolent crime. There are some exceptions in the bill, for example when there is an imminent threat of violence.
