Description: Authorizes the Insurance Department to enforce federal law which prohibits health insurance from imposing less favorable benefit limitations on mental health or substance use disorder benefits than on medical/surgical benefits. This bill also requires the department to evaluate compliance with this law and make the evaluations public.
