SB 357 (2018) relative to safe school zones.

House/Senate Bill: NH Senate

Description: Broadens a definition in the Safe School Zones law to require reporting of a broader list of crimes by school employees. The Senate amended the bill to allow needle exchange programs to operate within drug-free school zones with permission of the school district. The Senate voted down an amendment to this bill that would have allowed schools to ban firearms; current law allows adults with concealed carry permits to carry firearms on school grounds.
