Summary:
Amends the time period for when a person may bring a petition to suspend his or her sentence, from "until such person has served at least 4 years or 2/3 of his minimum sentence, whichever is greater" to "until such person is within 18 months of serving 2/3 of his or her minimum sentence." The Senate added this bill to HB 1245.
