Prohibit prior authorization for emergencies, medication-assisted treatment

Summary:

Prohibits health insurers from requiring prior authorization prior to emergency services, including transport, if emergency services are a covered benefit. This bill similarly prohibits health insurers from requiring prior authorization for medication-assisted treatment if substance use disorder services are a covered benefit. The Senate added this bill to HB 1639.
