SB 88 (2019)

Summary:

Repeals the requirement that a patient and provider have at least a three-month relationship before the provider prescribes marijuana. This bill also requires the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to give weekly, rather than monthly, reports to alternative treatment centers identifying the patients for each center. This bill also gives DHHS 20 days, rather than 50 days, to issue an ID card to a qualified designated caregiver if a patient changes caregivers. Lastly, this bill repeals the photograph requirement for medical marijuana ID card.
