When asked about abortion restrictions on the 2016 Citizens Count issue survey, Nutting-Wong wrote, "In recent years, women's rights have been attacked. I am pro-choice. I believe that it's my choice to have a baby, just like it's other people's choice to buy a car. It shouldn't be an issue to be taken lightly, but one that I get to make."
