Hello! I like the positions you have posted here, and I have one comment related to the opioid addiction problem and position. That is, in my state of Kansas there is a very serious and destructive meth problem that is ruinous to many users. I support far stronger supervision of those with meth addiction, and far stronger punishment for dealers, especially the higher-up dealers who bring meth to this state in bulk. It ruins people's thinking, makes them impulsive and incompetent, worsens emotional problems, and results in a huge amount of petty theft that's very inconvenient to the wellbeing of theft victims and communities. Far stiffer penalties and better enforcement and capture of dealers are needed. The problem isn't just in this state. A national solution is needed with cooperation of other countries where meth producers and traffickers are located (Mexico, etc). We really don't need the border fussing that Trump has created to sour relations between the US and Mexico---we need more cooperation, borders that are more open, and assistance to Mexico to uproot the growing drug-financed corruption in that country. I would be happy to see the US military carry out a REAL war on drugs that goes after producers, traffickers and drug lords with the US Air Force, bomb the crap out of identifiable targets and put an end to the drug trafficking plague in this country.
