Biden and Trump join NH primary fray

Body

Vice President Joe Biden's visit to the Granite State on Wednesday and Don Trump's hiring of campaign staff have raised speculation about their interest in the 2016 presidential primary.

Biden came to the state to accept an award named for Warren Rudman at the Unversity of New Hampshire Law School in Manchester. He also took some time for politicking, but not necessarily on his own behalf but on behalf of the administration of President Barack Obama.

Biden made no mention of a run for president in 2016 with its first-in-the-nation primary here in New Hampshire. He's one of a handful of Democrats who might be in a position to run in 2016. The character of that particular primary depends on whether Hillary Clinton decides to run, as many believe she will.

Trump is part of a gaggle of Republicans considering a run. The real estate tycoon hired the former director of "Americans for Prosperity," Corey Lewendowski, to be his senior political adviser. On the heels of that hire, expect a visit to the state in the near future from The Donald.

The question now becomes whether indeed the two will run in 2016. The larger question for New Hampshire voters is should they run?
