Military uniforms allowed at graduation
New Hampshire recently passed a law allowing graduates to opt to wear a military uniform at graduation ceremonies as long as they have completed basic training.
New Hampshire was only the third state in the country to pass such a law.
Supporters of allowing graduates to wear their uniform say that students who choose to enter into the military should be rewarded for it at graduation by being allowed to wear the uniform.
Opponents argue that graduation is about commemorating the day and believe that the student should not wear their uniform because it would take away from celebrating all of the graduates' accomplishments.
