Here’s a rundown of the major votes on this issue over the past year.
HB 1367 – This bill would have ended the requirement for children to get the tetanus shot. The House killed the bill.
SB 381 – This bill would have ended the requirement for children to get the hepatitis B vaccine. The Senate killed the bill.
SB 333 – This bill would let pharmacist interns administer vaccines with supervision. Last year Gov. Sununu signed a bill to let pharmacists administer vaccines. SB 333 faces a vote in the House of Representatives on April 12.
SB 350 – This bill would establish rules for pharmacists substituting brand name vaccines with other interchangeable products. SB 350 has a public hearing April 11.
