Should NH make violence against police a hate crime?

On August 1st, Lousiana's "Blue Lives Matter" law went into effect. The law adds intentionally targeting law enforcement officials, such as police or firefighters, to state hate crime legislation. Convictions under hate crime laws allow for harsher penalties for charges such as assault or murder. 

Bush making every effort to overcome Bush fatigue

Jeb Bush, at this stage of the New Hampshire primary cycle, might be tired of questions about and comparisons to the former presidents in his family tree: his father, George H.W. Bush, and his brother, George W. Bush.

And, after seeing Bush in action for a couple of days, you begin to wonder if his political fortunes might be different had he been the first Bush to run for president, not the third.
