Repeal stricter voter registration laws
Summary:
States that, "A person's claim of domicile for voting purposes shall not be conclusive of the person's residence for any other legal purpose." This undoes the intent of HB 1264 (2018), which required all voters domiciled in New Hampshire to follow residency laws, such as the requirement to register any car in New Hampshire. This bill also repeals other strict voter registration laws. For example, this bill removes the requirement for the Secretary of State to conduct post-election voter registration inquiries.
