HB 1235 (2024)

Allows student government to establish up to 3 student school board member positions. This bill also requires student school board members to attend at least one school board meeting per month during the regular school year, rather than all school board meetings.

The House rewrote the bill. The new bill simply removes the requirement for student school board members to attend all school board meetings.
