HB 1237 (2022)
Ease sales requirement for cigar bars
This bill did not become law.
Last updated 2024-02-27 4:23 pm
Summary:
Lowers the amount of revenue from cigars required of cigar bars, from 60% to 30%, for 2 years. The New Hampshire Liquor Commission assumes reducing the percentage of revenue a licensee must generate from cigars would likely increase the number of businesses acquiring the cigar bar license.
The House amended the bill to allow additional tobacco products to be sold in cigar bars and to be included in the revenue percentage required to meet the 60% threshold.
