HB 1238 (2018) relative to animal cruelty and costs of care for such animals.

Description: Allows a law enforcement officer to take an animal which is the subject of animal cruelty when he or she makes an arrest for animal cruelty. The House amended the bill to instead move an anti-cruelty law related to colts to the modern animal cruelty statute.
