Makes various changes to ballot processing, with the intention of increasing security. For example, this bill requires the state to use ballots with "embedded security," such as magnetic inks, watermarks, etc. This bill also requires special security measures to store ballots in the cities and towns after the elections, including video monitoring, visitor logs, etc. The bill also requires absentee voters to include photocopied evidence of their domicile and identity information. Lastly, the bill also requires cities and towns to publish digital images of all ballots within eight hours of the close of the polls.
