HB 1608 (2022)

Require DHHS to inform the public about removing their COVID-19 vaccine info from vaccine registry

Summary:

Requires the Department of Health and Human Services, pursuant to one of the governor's emergency orders, to contact individuals who were not given an opportunity to opt out of having their COVID-19 vaccine information included in the state's vaccine registry.

The House amended the bill to instead require the Department of Health and Human Services to execute a public information campaign to inform individuals of their right to have their information removed from the vaccine registry.
