Allows game hunting with "a lever-action carbine chambered in .357, .44 Magnum, or .45 Colt in any area where hunting is restricted to handgun or pistol." The House amended the bill to also allow a firearms used to take deer to be loaded with 6 rounds of ammunition, not just 5.
