SB 26 (2021)

Repeals the law requiring the town of Haverhill to fund the Woodsville fire district’s highway department and road maintenance, in accordance with warrant articles passed at Haverhill’s annual town meeting. This bill then requires the town of Haverhill to assume all responsibilities for the care and maintenance of all roads and highways within the Woodsville fire precinct. Lastly, this bill requires the Woodsville fire district to perform financial audits of all funds received from the town of Haverhill and all other sources, and all funds expended by the fire district, for each year 2015 to 2020.
