Limit annulment fees, allow annulments for young drug offenders
Summary:
Prohibits a fee for annuling an arrest and court record when a person is found not guilty or is not prosecuted. The House amended the bill to also allow a person who was less than 25 years old when convicted of a simple-possession drug-related crime to petition for annulment of arrest, conviction and sentence. The House and Senate must agree on a final version of the bill.
