"This legislation siphons NH tax dollars away from public schools and communities. Taxpayer money is diverted to private institutions, can be spent out of state, and is poorly regulated. Financial qualification is required only once for up to twelve years of benefits. The projected annual cost to the state was a little over $100K, but has mushroomed over 8 mil. This legislation does injustice to our taxpayers, our public education, and our communities."

To deny this history and the ability to examine the intersection of history, society, and government is censorship. The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States protects the right of free speech. Bans like this limit our freedom and are against the Constitution."
