"To further support the securing of the U.S. / Mexico and U.S. / Canada borders, an adjustment of status on a temporary basis for undocumented immigrants to begin to process for possible citizenship, versus amnesty, should be adopted. The end result of this process, assuming complete compliance by all participants is permanent alien status. Citizenship could then be applied for at the end of this initial process on an expedited basis."

"The objective is passing legislation which initiates permanent tax policy to encourage US corporate repatriation of foreign profits via:

"1) Imposing a 5.25% US corporate income tax rate on repatriated foreign profits;

"2) Allowing a 50% tax credit against that 5.25% tax (effectively reducing the tax rate to 2.625%) for investment in qualified job creation projects, hiring those unemployed for more than twelve months, or who otherwise qualify as members of the non-participating percentage of the US civilian work force, now numbering several million Americans. US employers would have to invest in such qualified job creation project during their fiscal year, receiving the credit when the corporation files its annual corporate income tax return. Such repatriation income tax provisions would then be made permanent;

"3) Designating qualified job creation projects defined by United States Code and Treasury Regulation, but targeting the long-term unemployed. Receiving such funds can be facilitated by local banks which can be administered by the Federal Reserve Bank, as in the case of Treasury, Tax and Loan accounts;

"4) The amount of qualified assistance to employers from US Treasury funds might be broken down as follows, a) $5,000.00 per each person hired from the long-term unemployed pool as would be defined in US Code and Treasury Regs, and maintained in such employment for twelve consecutive months, and b) $2,500.00 per such employee hire provided to employees via such employers for job retraining tuition costs at a local community college, trade school or other relevant training program from an appropriately accredited educational institution;

"5) If such repatriation plan were successful in bringing back $2 trillion into the US, and all such US corporations participated in the job creation program to receive the income tax credit, it would generate billions of dollars available for new hires and training, millions of new jobs, and put billions of dollars back into the US economy. The multiplier effect, or the velocity of money in the economy would be a multiple of the billions made available for this program. The result would be a profound improvement in the economic climate"

"First, replace Common Core with some Common Sense;

"2) Common sense here means to immediately address the underperformance of many public schools by giving people School Vouchers, so families with students in underperforming schools can get a satisfactory school for their children right away;

"3) Some community colleges have developed programs to assist Latinos, for example, by adding supplementary academic programs to fill in the gaps of their prior public school education and thereby increase college degree attainment. Such programs include additional student services, such as additional student financial aid education, additional education on the value of a college education, programs involving students' families in the students' college progress and social events, additional social networking about student social life and activities as well as additional tutoring as needed. Information on those programs is readily available in academic literature;

"4) These community college programs designed for Latinos can be very readily adapted to public school minority student elementary education. This is particularly so with regard to parental involvement in the student's life and progress in all phases of school activity, parent groups, parent-teacher groups, etc., and can be supported by church and community groups locally;

"5) Based on five years of volunteer teaching, Pre-K through 8th grade Spanish to rural Illinois students in this writer's experience, implementing such supplemental school programs Pre-K through 8th grade for minority students and others needing special care would likely change the trajectory of that student's life forever;

"6) So that further additions to the existing federal government bureaucracy in education can be avoided, these programs can very likely be implemented at the state level and perhaps contracted to independent educational consultants on a results-oriented basis, both financially and academically."

"Finally, personal tax regulations should be revised to allow a $66,000.00 standard deduction per person, below which there is no tax and above which there is a flat tax of 30%. This will bring billions more dollars into to the velocity of money calculations in the national economy and thereby create millions more jobs."

"The natural enemies of ISIS and affiliates, as well as the Russians are the Kurds, some Christians, and the Ukranian and Nigerian armies respectively. Full support of allies in the forms of arms and supplies, intensive air support, special forces troops as trainers and force multipliers, technology, and command and control operations predate even the Reagan Doctrine in some respects all the way back to Lend-Lease in World War II, which is in addition to all financial and diplomatic avenues of stopping their activities"

"Two of the greatest contributors to enhanced domestic oil production currently are fracking and oil shale processing. Both methods have been developed by the U.S. Department of Energy and should be continued, mindful of stewardship of the environment but without excessive environmental regulatory interference. The Keystone XL Pipeline is similarly compatible with maintaining U.S. national security, and can likely be constructed with environmental protection in mind based on the experience from the Trans-Alaska Pipeline."
