Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?

"I would repeal these accounts. Parents that elect to educate students outside of the public school system should be willing to pay for it. The same as my parents did. If funding does occur, then the state should have a say in the education. Which is against what the private school wants."

"To long, our history has been told from a point of view of kings and rich folks. As we in a democracy, we should teach our children how everyone contributed."

"An income tax would help spread the tax burden over more people. It deserves to be studied. I believe that all should pay a fair share of the cost of government. As residents of the state, we have an obligation of looking out for our neighbor."

"Since the legislature cut both the Interest and Dividend Tax and the tax on businesses this year, the short fall must be made up by either a sales tax or a raise in property tax or a cut in government services."

"With the federal student loan forgiveness this year, the state legislature should revisit this when we have the results for it. There are other priorities that the state should meet first like a living wage for e employees and housing for them."

"The business tax should revert to the previous rates before this year cut.. The last session cut future revenue but omitted the challenging work of suggesting where services should be cut or who would be hurt."

"As an avid gardener, I know that the climate change is happening. The cost of doing nothing to solve the problem is higher than try to minimize the change to the climate. The changes are making food harder to grow plus having more extreme weather."

Do you support giving voters who register without ID on Election Day a ballot that only counts if they return identifying documents to the state before a deadline?

"First time voters should have to present proof of residency and ID. Returning documents would cause a delay of several day in the results of the determining the results of an election. Registering without the proper documents should be manage before the election day. You should be able to register the day of the election. The undeclared voter is the only voter who can change his party affiliation to voting in a primary."

Should New Hampshire add a fee or mileage charge for electric vehicle owners to help pay for transportation and/or electric infrastructure?

"Everyone should pay their fair share of maintain the infrastructure. The problem needs to be studied more. We should be encouraging more use of electric vehicles. Yet our infrastructure needs maintained."

"The state should encourage removing zoning barriers. As companies move to our state, we need to ensure that we will have a place for those workers to live. There is currently a shortage of workers and housing for our businesses."

"The state should be moving toward being energy independent. This includes encouraging everyone to use energy more efficiently."

Do you support the option of mail-in ballots for all voters, not just absentees?

"As I watched people struggle to make it into the polling place, they need not suffer when they could just mail-in the ballot. We should be doing everything we can to encourage every citizen to vote. We have come along way in this country when only male landowners were allowed to vote. The mail-in ballot helps to prevent voter intimidation at the polls and increase the number of voters."

"The more we restrict the use of Marijuana, the use seems to go up. I do advise that every one that uses it should take responsibility for their own actions. The restrictions on use should be like the drug alcohol."

Should New Hampshire raise the minimum wage?

"Our minimum wages need to match the minimum wage of the states around us. Failure to match them results in training workers only to have them leave for better wages. The minimum wage should be index to the cost of living. Even at $15 an hour, a person has hard time making a living."

Should the state permanently increase how much tax revenue it shares with towns and cities every year, beyond public school funding?

"I value equality. The state should be funding each resident in a similar fashion. One method is to collect the money at the state level and to provide a method of dividing it up by giving to the towns and cities for use in providing services used by all."

"I do support raising the amount that is exempted every year depending on the cost of living. However, a hundred million cut in revenue will demand a cut in many state services."

"The current system is not fair to the many students in our state. Making the funding of each child appropriate for each child should be our goal."

"We need to change the law that allows anyone to walk into a school carrying a firearm. Respect the right to own a gun and protect the public at the same time."
