"I'm not going to answer this question because I do not believe the government should regulate, tax, or otherwise handle marriages and this should be left up to religious institutions or a couple who wish to tie the knot. So in the end I guess if the question was 'Should we repeal the marriage law?' I'd say yes. But adding the word 'gay' in there would make me say no as everyone should have the right to marry regardless of sexual orientation, and it is not the governments job to say yes or no; which is the reason why marriage as a government institution was founded so they could control who could or couldn't get married. First it was interracial marriages then it was people with STDs, then it was foreigners."

"No way, but they need to be aware they are fully responsible for any damages they cause. Even if this means they have to lose their house or other property they may or may not own, or have wages garnished until it is fully (damages+insurance premiums) paid off (to the person who persons insurance company who would likely foot the bill)."
