Candidate's Twitter Feed, 2018

"We cannot rely on the Supreme Court to end the undemocratic practice of partisan gerrymandering so we must do it in the legislature. If elected, I promise to fight for non-partisan redistricting in NH because neither party should be able to deny citizens a fair vote."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Is police brutality an issue in NH?

"I do not believe that police brutality is an issue in New Hampshire to the extent that it is an issue in some other states. That does not mean that isolated bad apples do not exist and I would advocate for both the use of body cameras, to protect both the police and the public, as well as limiting the ability of police to acquire military equipment as a prudent measure regardless of the level of police brutality in the state. Police do not need military equipment to do their job effectively."

Should NH continue to administer statewide standards-based student assessments?

"I believe that there is a place for standardized testing within the public education system, but I would seek to limit the frequency of testing, ensure that teachers performance is not based on the outcome of the tests and that parents would have the ability to opt out of such testing for their children if they choose."

Citizens Count Issue Survey, 2018

Should NH pass stricter gun control laws?

"There are a few minor changes I would like to see as it relates to gun safety. 1. We need universal background checks, including for private sales, in order to close a loophole in current law. 2. We need to make bump stocks illegal as they alter a legal weapon to act like an illegal one. Otherwise, I am against making further changes to NH gun laws, either stricter or less strict."

I would support a constitutional change to declare only residents eligible to vote. I would not support legislation which seeks to reinterpret the New Hampshire constitution to make residency a requirement to vote."
