Position on Issues

WMUR, 2022

"Inflation is a monetary problem that can be addressed fiscally by stopping the creation of too much money, reducing spending, and cutting deficits. I will support bringing back the balanced budget amendment proposed in 1995 - when the House endorsed a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution aimed at eliminating federal deficits."

WMUR, 2022

"This is no longer a federal issue; abortion now falls under the purview of the States and their legislatures. The people of New Hampshire can participate in the democratic process to decide on abortion."

WMUR, 2022

"I would repeal all unconstitutional gun control laws. Like other issues, gun laws should be determined by the people of New Hampshire through the legislative process. I would work with others to address the causes of violence such as unaddressed mental health issues, moral decline, and broken families. I also support access to firearm training and education. The disarming of law-abiding citizens is not the solution to violence."

WMUR, 2022

"The U.S. is among other countries with the most free and unrestricted voting rights, even though the right to vote is not directly mentioned in the U.S. Constitution, and the 15th and 19th Amendments were written to protect equal treatment under law. Still, we generally understand that voting rights do and should exist. I believe the most effective way to ensure trust in elections is if people believe their votes count and the election process is not manipulated; it is imperative that government is seen as legitimate by the people. Voter ID verifications are proven to help accomplish this."

WMUR, 2022

"The Federal government caused this problem by opening the door for universities to charge higher tuitions through subsidizing and backing of student loans. I would reduce the role of the Federal government in education at all levels from Pre-K through post-graduate levels, bringing this back to the states, counties, and school districts."

WMUR, 2022

"We must maintain a strong economy and continue to develop technologies, like nuclear fusion, and continuously explore all energy options in a free market. We must consider the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision that stops the Biden Administration's misguided efforts. The 6-to-3 decision ruled that the EPA does not have the authority to regulate the carbon emissions of power plants. Clearly, the EPA, which was created during the Nixon administration, can no longer create un-legislated edicts which are constitutionally reserved for the States. The people of New Hampshire have a right to decide what is best for them in regards to preserving and protecting our natural environment, while also leading in innovative energy solutions."
