"Anything after 3 months or 12 weeks way too long. I'm prolife and I'm against abortion but the state law is state law and unless a bill is written to ban abortion or change from 24 weeks to less this is the law."

"Yes. We shouldn't be teaching anything that is going to cause hatred in the classrooms. We need to support our students and teach against being racist, sexist, etc. The more we divide the more hate we have."

"The more you tax the more you spend. The broad base tax will never lower our property taxes and it does it will be short lived. Don't expect that an income tax will help education as many has said earmark it. Look at the lottery, how much goes towards education?"

"Once we start with this what will be next? I have a lot of concerns with the green new deal and the way it is being rolled out and forced on us. "Where did the money come from for the state to tax us on interest and our dividends? We the people worked for it. A lot of time the dividends grow for retirement and the consumer gets paid interest on the money invested. Keep government away from our money."

"The only other way to pay for public schools, if you take away the local property taxes the state would need an income tax or sales tax to pay for the schools. Many say if you have a sales or income tax property tax your property tax would be lowered and so would the school portion. That's not true in my opinion, as the city and towns will find other ways to keep spending and taxes never go down."
