Summary:
Exempts some land owners from requiring wetlands permits if they are removing a blockage to allow a perennial or seasonal stream to follow its original course after a natural disaster or flooding event.
The House rewrote the bill. The new bill allows property owners to remove woody debris and blockages from the channels of watercourses, culverts, or bridges without a permit so long as there are no major impacts.
