HB 157 (2023)

Modify law on sexual harassment policy for state legislature

Modifies the way the Legislative Facilities Committee reviews and adopts sexual harassment policies for the state legislature. In particular, this bill removes the requirement for the committee to consider whether the legislature should pass a rule that all legislators and staff attend in-person anti-sexual harassment training. The bill also removes the requirement that the sexual harassment policy be included in the ethics guidelines, statutes, and procedural rules booklet.
