Summary:
Expands who can prescribe medical marijuana to include anyone licensed and registered to prescribe controlled substances. This bill also allows a family practice provider to certify a minor for medical marijuana use, not specifically a pediatrician.
A conference committee of representatives and senators failed to agree on a final version of this bill.
