Allow medical marijuana for any severe pain, study state-controlled marijuana legalization

Summary:

Removes the requirement that severe pain be resistant to other treatment options in order for a patient to qualify for medical marijuana.

The Senate amended the bill to also establish a commission to study state-controlled sales of cannabis and cannabis products.
