Summary:
Prohibits public school teachers from receiving salaries below a certain amount if their school administrative unit or school district employs more than one assistant superintendent or employs a diversity professional.
The Senate rewrote the bill to instead require a report to voters on the average cost per pupil, average teacher salary, and administrator salaries before any meeting at which a school district adopts a budget. The Senate then added the bill text to HB 1265.
