Allow death benefit for first responders who die from suicide

Summary:

Expands the eligibility of a $100,000 line-of-duty death benefit for first responders who die from suicide.

The House amended the bill to also include corrections officers, probation-parole officers and correctional line personnel to persons eligible for the death benefits.

The House then amended the bill to also add the text of HB 1101 to this bill. HB 1101 limits state or local law enforcement agencies from participating in federal asset forfeiture programs.
