Establish disproportionate share hospital fund
Summary:
Establishes a disproportionate share hospital fund in the Department of Health and Human Services for the purpose of distributing funds to hospitals for completion of federally required disproportionate share hospital examinations. This relates to hospitals that serve a large number of Medicaid and uninsured individuals.
