Answering the question "Do you believe in legalizing pot?" on Facebook, Day wrote, "Yes, but we don't need to tax and over regulate it. We don't need more government. It's a plant. One thing to look out for is the federal government. I hope they defer to the states. Right now, there is an issue regarding losing your second amendment rights if you are using Medical Marijuana. I wouldn't advise anyone giving up their second amendment rights."
