Unfortunately, given budget constraints, allocating sufficient resources to preventing and treating drug abuse is unlikely. New Hampshire should continue programs in partnership with other state and federal law enforcement agencies such as prescription monitoring. We should continue to encourage programs with promising efficacy such as drug courts versus incarceration.

"New Hampshire's highest priority is to grow its economy. Investment and new jobs are the engines which pay for what we need, want and are mandated to do. New Hampshire needs to compete to attract new and existing employers. Actions, policies and politics in Concord must to change if New Hampshire is going to do this. I have the background, experience and enthusiasm to tackle these obstacles to get New Hampshire's economy moving again."
