"Fiscal responsibility involves looking into the future; deferring costs can make things look good today but create huge problems in the future. Failing to invest in new energy sources is a great example of this, and failing to increase the net metering cap will drive up our utility bills in the future by more than it will save today. If elected, I will look to support and advance legislation which will address our high energy costs for the long-term, not just during one election cycle."
