Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"I do not support the Education Freedom Account program in its current form. The cost of this program has far exceeded expectations or promises and the accountability for how these funds are being managed is lacking. We have to ensure our public schools are receiving adequate funding and the services they provide to students and families are protected."

Should New Hampshire ban discussions about sexual orientation and gender identity in grades K-3?
"A ban on these discussions is discriminatory to our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors. What are we saying to the child who has parents of the same sex? We should not be teaching our children to be ashamed of their families and loved ones. We should be teaching our children kindness, understanding and acceptance. If some parents are uncomfortable with this topic, they have the opportunity to share that with their child's teacher and school administration and make the choice to opt out."

Do you support the state law that bans teaching certain concepts, such as the idea that people may be "inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously"?
"This ban tells our teachers they do not have our trust. This is absolutely unacceptable to me. What is also unacceptable to me is making it a potential crime to discuss the racism, sexism and ableism that exists in our world today. I think we need to be teaching our children how to have these difficult discussions with one another so we can create a more just, equitable and kind society."

Should New Hampshire add a tax credit for businesses that contribute to student loan repayment for employees?
"The rising cost of college tuition has made a college degree less attainable for so many Granite Staters. If college graduates have the opportunity to be hired by a local business who has the ability to assist with the burden of student loan repayment, it would increase the accessibility of a college degree for everyone. This incentive would also help with the workforce shortage as many college graduates are weighing their monthly budget needs when choosing their place of employment."

Should the state permanently increase how much tax revenue it shares with towns and cities every year, beyond public school funding?
"We currently have a surplus in the state budget. Our local municipalities know what is needed and what will make the most impact in their communities if additional funding is available. As a state we should be assisting the towns and cities who have a lower revenue base and providing additional revenue and supports when needed and appropriate."

Do you support the state’s current system of public school funding, with each district’s total funding primarily dependent on local property tax revenue?
"The manner in which we currently fund our public schools is not equitable or sustainable. It puts an incredible burden on communities with a lower tax base.
