Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
When asked whether New Hampshire should allocate tax revenues for private and home schooling costs, Mazerall wrote, "Yes, but sparingly. An initial investment will likely need to be made, but self sufficiency should be the goal for these types of enterprises, while reducing some of the costs associated with the public education system."

Should NH increase law enforcement policies and penalties for heroin-related offenses?
"I believe policing efforts should be geared to targeting nuisance drug addicts who steal, commit vilent crime, and share drugs with minors. Unfortunately, many working class individuals in this state are counted among the addicted; I believe these people require assistance and not prosecution. Subjecting otherwise lawful residents in this state to incarceration for their destructive habits is a waste of state funds and will dig addicted individuals into a deeper whole as they will be saddled with a criminal record as well as present them with greater opportunities to network with dealers and addicts during their sentence."

Is police brutality an issue in NH?
"Although it is undoubtedly a serious problem in some locations within the country, I don't believe police brutality is an issue in the state of NH. If New Hampshire can maintain its rural lifestyle, we should be able to maintain the the community policing culture we currently have, where police and residents have a close and productive relationship. I do support the use of body cameras and oversight of law enforcement activities, to provide clarity and maintain good relations between law enforcement and the public."

Should NH continue to administer statewide standards-based student assessments?
"No. I believe that students need to be treated as individuals and education should be more personalized. Public education has failed many students, and our society as a whole, by functioning solely as an intermediate to secondary education, while failing to prepare the next generation for much needed trade jobs that desperately need to be filled. Statewide assessments will encourage more standardization of education vs customization to the individual student."

Should NH restrict further wind power development?
"Wind power is not a reliable source of energy. I will oppose public funds being used to support such cronyist projects. Furthermore, Despite the strong lobbying efforts of its stakeholders, facts have emerged that avian wildlife has been damaged by wind farms; I fear the risks associated with our population of migratory bird species that use extensive flyways through this state. I would support the use of wind if it was funded solely by private enterprise and had environmental safeguards to prevent the death of migratory bird species that we have seen in other states."
