On the 2022 Citizens Count Issue Survey, Lundgren marked he was "For" banning abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation). However, in 2023 Lundgren voted against HB 591, a bill that would prohibit a doctor from performing an abortion after detecting a fetal heartbeat, which is generally in the first trimester.
