Do you support the “Education Freedom Account” program, which gives students access to the per-pupil share of state school funding to spend on private school or home school expenses?
"There are currently no income limits on who qualifies for this handout of taxpayer dollars, no oversight of how that money is used, and no accountability for showing what education a child is getting from expenditure of those taxpayer funds. A family who can afford a private school, and who has a child already enrolled, gets money from the public schools that we all pay for, money they did not need to send their child to a private school. It's destabilizing our public schools."Against| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire’s anti-discrimination law allow segregation based on biological sex in some settings, such as bathrooms and locker rooms?
"The idea that a trans person is up to no good just for entering a bathroom or locker room is misguided. Trans people are misunderstood, vilified, and judged, and they are killed and commit suicide. As decent people we should accept them, and live and let live. There are laws already in place in the event you are assaulted or threatened, so why the need to discriminate by allowing segregation. Do your business, wash your hands, and leave the room."Against| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire ban abortions during the first trimester (e.g. after 6 weeks gestation)?
"Circumstances and complications can arise during any stage of pregnancy and the decision to proceed with an abortion should be between doctor and patient, not dictated by state law. Whether to choose an abortion is a difficult decision that should be entrusted to the patient who is gestating, as a right. Legislators should not take the place of medical professionals. I do not believe that abortion is used commonly as a method of birth control. And the debate is pro-choice vs anti-choice, not pro-choice vs pro-life. Women need choice."Against| Read My Position

Should the state do more to encourage municipalities to remove zoning barriers to housing development?
"We should be open to exploring all available options to deliver desperately needed affordable housing / workforce housing. The housing shortage is driving up costs and finding solutions to that problem should be a high priority."Other| Read My Position

Do you support New Hampshire’s current system of public school funding, with about two-thirds of total funding coming from local property taxes?
"New Hampshire is last in the nation in state funding for public schools and that explains our ever-increasing property taxes. By relying so heavily on local property taxes we are making homeownership harder to attain and maintain."For| Read My Position

Should New Hampshire allow at least 10% of students in each school district to enroll in a different public school, regardless of where they live?
"It is unfair to students whose parents do not have the means or ability to drive them to another town, so it becomes a tool of privilege. It also puts an unfair burden on some school districts, destabilizing our public schools."For| Read My Position
