"'Encourage' is a much different word than mandate. I prefer 'allow' meaning local communities decide what level of growth is required/necessary. In other words, not the state mandating percentages and regulations."

"In favor generally however, would need to see the legislation and the definition of 'encourage'."

"Despite being a solar power user, I do not support NET metering. I use solar power because it works for MY situation...not for the tax advantages or the benefit of billing."

"I believe this is what the framers intended and what the constitution provides for. I think further we need to honestly re-examine the traditional public school model of assigned by zip code and see if parents/taxpayers and especially children might be better off using some other model."
