She added, "During my 2020 campaign for the Executive Council, the importance of school choice options was a recurring theme among families across the district, especially amid the school closures and the shift to hybrid learning due to the COVID pandemic. On January 7, 2021, just hours after being sworn into office, I supported the acceptance of $10.1 million in federal grant funds for New Hampshire Charter Schools. Notably, New Hampshire was the last state to accept these federal funds for the expansion of public charter schools."

"The New Hampshire Food Bank, the state’s sole food bank and a partner of Feeding America, is affiliated with Catholic Charities. District 3 is home to 29 food pantries, including seven on the Seacoast, such as Gather, all of which are affiliates of this nonprofit organization that provides essential services. While contracts with faith-based organizations are rare, I, along with the other Executive Council members, supported two contracts with the New Hampshire Food Bank, both endorsed by the Legislative Joint Fiscal Committee. Through a competitive RFP process, the Department of Health & Human Services selected the New Hampshire Food Bank to provide statewide outreach and enrollment assistance for SNAP programs. Additionally, the Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food awarded USDA grant funding to the Food Bank for the NH Feeding NH Program, supporting the purchase of locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy. These contracts were thoroughly vetted, complete, and the agency was in good standing. NH Food Bank serves and supports over 400 other agencies and provides more than 60% of the food they require. The NH Food Bank is an exemplary organization and essential for the wellbeing of all New Hampshire residents. I remain committed to supporting the NH Department of Safety initiatives to provide safety for houses of worship of all denominations."

"I have consistently supported contracts for women’s healthcare with New Hampshire’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), including expanded access in my district. In fact, District 3 was the only district to expand women’s healthcare services through an FQHC with the opening of new services in Raymond. I have supported all contracts with FQHCs that provide women’s healthcare, and when services by the Belknap-Merrimack providers were unjustly denied contract funding, I intervened to address the issue, resulting in restoration of funding.  I have recently approved more than $3 million dollars for women’s healthcare offered through the centers.

"I am also concerned with the recent loss of maternal services at a local hospital as well as potential for future loss.  This will remain a focus for me."
