"It would depend on the specifics of the bill. Currently in the state of NH people in the lowest income bracket pays an effective tax rate of 9% meanwhile the top income bracket pays only 3%, this must be rectified. If I were to support an income tax it would need to have a tax exemption for the first 50k - 100k earned by an individual or family to ensure it helps get us to a flat effective tax rate and doesn't further contribute to the overtaxing of working class people here in the state."Against| Read My Position

That's not just my perspective that's the opinion of the state supreme court which has ruled repeatedly now that we are violating our student's constitutional right to an education because of how unequal our funding is in the state.
