"Transgender people are just trying to live their lives, they go through a lot of social alienation and other "persecution" which is unfair and often based on emotion rather that scientific facts.. A lot of the issues we hear seem to imply that anyone can "put a dress on" and they can go to the women's room. This is not and should not be the case. There needs to be guidelines so this doesn't happen, such as documented proof from a physician that the individual is on hormone medication which can be provided, confidentially, to the school."Against| Read My Position

"SMR's are not readily available yet, in fact the first deployment isn't scheduled until 2029. So long term this concept is very interesting, however; this will not help short term. I also have concerns about the nuclear waste and how it is handled and stored. Currently this waste is stored at the plants (e.g. Seabrook) in a pool, how will waste from SMR's be handled? If it's the same then that presents an issue since we are proliferating potential issues for leak, attacks or other things."For| Read My Position
